Issue/Introduction

Is there any estimation for how much resource does UMA agent use?

What is the effect of the agent as Memory and CPU utilization?

Resolution

It is very hard to say what the exact overhead that the java agent will place on a monitored JVM but the goal is for it to be less than 5%. Sometimes to achieve that some configuration tuning may be required but in general that is a reasonable figure to assume.
