IEC032I E37-04 occurs when installing the travelling license version of Auditor

Getting error message IEC032I E37-04 trying to install the travelling license version (non-SMP/E) of  Auditor (aka Examine).  There is plenty of space on the volume, so what is wrong?

Resolution

The non-SMP/E install of Auditor from the product tape installs by running an install routine loaded directly from the tape. This install routine dynamically allocates the Auditor libraries and populates them directly from the install tape. This applies to installation of the External Travelling License version of Auditor, the Internal Travelling License version, or when performing the non-SMP/E install of Auditor.

This space related problem can happen when you are trying to install to an SMS controlled volume and you have ACS routines that can alter space requests for dynamically allocated libraries.  This is not a problem when installing to non-SMS controlled volume(s) or if using the SMP/E install process.  If you have space related problems (IEC032I E37-04) trying to install Auditor directly from tape (non-SMP/E), ensure that you install to a non-SMS controlled volume.
