What portions of DX Netops Performance Management utilize SSH

Release : 3.7, 20.2, 21.2

Resolution

The only portion of the product that uses SSH for communication is the Data Repository.

The Data Repository must be able to passwordless ssh from each node to each other node and back to itself as the DR admin user, and the root or sudo user during upgrade/install depending on whether you use root or a sudo user for the upgrade install.

Also if you have a Disaster Recovery setup, the DR nodes need to be able to do the above and bi-directionally between the primary and secondary DR nodes as well.

Additionally, if you use a backup host for the Data Repository, then that needs to be able to ssh as well as the dr admin user
