Issue/Introduction

You would like to know if DLP Network discover supports scanning of Jive server as a Web server scanner target.

Cause

DLP does not provide native support for scanning Jive repository

Resolution

In DLP 15.8, the generic Web server scanner functionality has been integrated into the product. However native support for scanning Jive server as a Web server scanner target is not available. Customers will have to build a custom web application that conforms to HTTP standards with the help of Jive Professional services which will serve as their Jive front end plug-in. This plug-in will provide an API URL for their Jive repository. This API URL can then be configured as a content root in the Web server scanner discover target in DLP to download and scan the files from the Jive repository.
