S0C1 abend when using the XCOM ISPF interface at CARS2112 and CARS2201 levels

Issue/Introduction

After deploying CARS2112 level, users may experience a S0C1 abend when using the XCOM ISPF interface,

 

 

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : XCOM Data Transport for z/OS

Cause

Fix LU03633 which is part of CARS2112 level inadvertently introduced a wild branch to address zero which raises the S0C1 abend.

Resolution

Apply fix LU04145 to correct the problem. This fix is part of CARS2202 level.

Additional Information

In the diagnostic information, ISPF identifies the XCOMISPD as the abending program. The PSW address is 80000002 and R15 contains zeros.
