Export/import Alerting Rules from UVMS A to B

Issue/Introduction

After moving a UVMS from a server and performing a new installation, we realized that we are missing the Alerting Rules defined in the previous UVMS.

Is there a way to export / import the alerting rules from UVMS A to UVMS B with a command line or packages?

Unfortunately, uniexpsec/uniimpsec commands do not include the alerting rules.

Resolution

At this moment, there is no command line or API available for exporting/importing the definition of the Alerting Rules, this is a Product Enhancement Request that has been opened by Product Manager with the ID: PMDU-2933

The only possible workaround would be declaring the UVMS B as UVMS Subordinate of the UVMS A, so that the whole security from UVMS A (and the Alerting Rules) are created in the UVMS B.

After doing so, remove the UVMS B from the UVMS A so that this "previous security and Alerting Rules" are kept.
