Unexpected restarts or reboot loop encountered running ProxySG in Google Cloud Platform(GCP)

Issue/Introduction

You have a ProxySG deployed in GCP and the ProxySG is experiencing unexpected restarts or is in a reboot loop.
From the serial console you are seeing messages similar to:

Error: Hardware fatal error, attempting core image write on processor 2 with exception 0xd

 

Cause

A change made to the Google Cloud Platform has caused an incompatibility with the ProxySG software application for GCP.

 

Resolution

The only resolution to the issue once encountered is to recreate a new GCP ProxySG instance.

If you are not yet seeing this issue, it is important to be on a release that supports the changes made to GCP.

Upgrade to 7.3.7.1 at your earliest convenience to address this issue.
