Missing Event Variables for UCS cucsFaultClearNotif and cucsFaultActiveNotif Traps

Issue/Introduction

 

We are still receiving SNMP traps where some devices are not properly populated the expected SNMP Variables, while other devices the trap variables are populated as expected.  

UCS cucsFaultClearNotif 0x210e7e and cucsFaultActiveNotif 0x210e7d Traps

Environment

Release : 20.2, 21.2

Component : SpectroSERVER

Cause

The UCS traps were being sent with the Variable Binding OIDs malformed.

Resolution

The cucsFaultClearNotif and cucsFaultActiveNotif traps from device have Variable Binding OIDs that are malformed and as a result the
  SpectroSERVER is unable to map them to the event variables defined in the AlertMap file.


This will need to be corrected on the device/vendor side.
