Recommended clean up before upgrading from 9.2.x or below to 9.3.x and above

Issue/Introduction

In version 9.2.2 HF1 and below, over time orphaned records may build up in the aw_job_queue_activity table. 

While this does not appear to have an negative effects, in version 9.3.x and above, these orphaned records may cause a number of issue when starting the Applications Manage processes.

Issue behavior may include the following:

• Awapi fails to start
• There may be a 5 to 15 minute delay where the RMI process is doing nothing
• RMI debug logs may contain a 5 to 15 minute timestamp gap
• A Java Heap error may be thrown after 5 to 15 minutes

Resolution

To avoid this issue from occurring, it is highly recommended that a "clean up" is made to the so_job_queue and aw_job_queue_activity tables.
