Unable to perform 4.0.1 upgrade on physical 304L lab appliance

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to upgrade an old pam appliance 304L (16 gig) from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1, the installation just times out and goes back to the upgrade screen.

No errors are presented to the end-user.

Environment

Release : 4.0.0 and 4.0.1

Component : PRIVILEGED ACCESS MANAGEMENT

Resolution

With the help of support, please open up a support issue, to determine if the upgrade is just not prompting for the reboot.

Support will need to SSH to the appliance, determine if the upgrade package was extracted into to the /var/uag/modification directory.

If so, a manually reboot starts the upgrade.

Additional Information

The recommended values for a PAM 4.0.x appliance is 64 gig of memory.  These old appliances only have 16 gig on them, which is our bare minimum requirements in PAM 4.0.x
