How can I prevent Alerts from being sent during specific timeframes?

Environment

Release : 6.4.2

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

Beginning with AAI 6.4.2, there is a new feature which allows you to prevent Alerts from being generated during specific time windows.

 

You can find documentation on this new Alert Blackout Period features in the 6.4.2 documentation.

 

Once this is enabled, you will noticed messaged like below in the jaws.log indicating that Alerts are being ignored:

INFO [AlertGenerator] Ignore JOBSTREAM_EXCEEDED_SLA alert for job stream xxxx

 

This feature is set at the jobstream level.
