Is there any way to compare newer mib versions to current supported mibs in Spectrum?

Issue/Introduction

Please let me know if there is way, we can compare old and new mib of a product so that we can verify any change in new mib (anything newly added or removed) and map the new changes in alert map file so that we could not miss any information just in case that information is missing in the old mib.

Resolution

There is no real way to compare mibs that are currently in Spectrum with a new version of that mib.

The closest you can get is to compare the mib file located in the $SPECROOT/MibDatabase directory with the current mib. 

The mibs in this directory are the mibs that have been compiled into the MIB Tools database. The do not necessarily reflect the mibs that have been compiled into the SpectroSERVER database. These are two separate databases.

Additionally, even though the mib may have been compiled into the MIB Tools database, the traps may not have been processed into AlertMap files for trap processing by the SpectroSERVER.
