can't replace read-only file

Issue/Introduction

We received following, even though user checkbox replace read only while check-out.

E03020028: The File Agent error for item agentserver\\/my/target/folder/location/file1.dsx : Can't replace read only file on check out .

E03020028: The File Agent error for item agentserver\\/my/target/folder/location/file2.dsx : Can't replace read only file on check out .

Not sure why ?

Resolution

Check to make sure the userid that is used to connect to the agent had write permissions to the parent folder as well as the file.
