DevTest Workstation in SSL Debug shows java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Issue/Introduction

The HTTP/SSL Debug output in the Workstation shows the following in red when executing a test with an https REST step for the second time:
[   2] ProcDlgThreadCallbk@aa01f2e, handling exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Release : 10.6, 10.7

Component : DevTest Workstation

Cause

Defect.

Resolution

The message is INFO only and is handled (indicated by: handling exception) and is not a real SSL error.
The workstation.log shows the exception as INFO so that correctly indicates it is not an ERROR.
The step and SSL configuration work as expected. 
To avoid confusion, a patch is available from support that shows the message in grey instead of red.
