CCS WEB Console icon on Home screen page does not work

Issue/Introduction

The icon for the CCS Web Console does not bring up a browser with the Web Console.

Environment

Release : 12.5.2

Component : CCS Web Console icon

Resolution

In some unknown circumstances, it seems like clicking on the icon for the Web Portal does not function.  In some cases you can click on one of the other icons (like Notifications for example) and then try the icon for the Web Console and it will work.

As a workaround, you can enter the address manually in a web browser (example: http://App_Server_hostname/CCS_Web/HomePage.aspx) and that will bring up the CCS Web Console.

NOTE: It is recommend to use IE Explorer or MS Edge browsers for the web console as it seems Chrome and Mozilla browsers have problems with the web browser at times (especially if you are trying to download the thick CCS console from the web console).
