Way to perform a function key functionality via an OPS/MVS Rule

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way in OPSMVS to automate a response that requires a function key to be entered?

For ex: we are working on setting a rule to issue F5 key whenever this message DFHDB8207D occurs. Is this possible via OPS/MVS?

Environment

Release : 13.5 and 14.0

Component : OPS/MVS

Resolution

That functionality does not currently exist in OPS/MVS.   Using the example above, we would recommend contacting CICS support and finding out the command they are entering via F5 in response to the DFHDB8207D message.    That command could then be used to write a message rule to take that specific action.
