Issue/Introduction

Migration Utility fails SP2-0667: Message file sp1<lang>.msb not found sqlplus oracle

Environment

Rhel 7.x 8.x

DataLossPrevention 15.x

oracle client 19.x

Cause

the sp1.msg files are missing in the following path $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/mesg 

Resolution

If the msg files are not located in $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/mesg then you need to fix the path. If the files are missing all together, reinstall the oracle client. 

Below is from a working environment:

run find $ORACLE_HOME | grep sp1
