Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to DX Netops Performance Management 21.2.1 or later rest requests to the Data Aggregator rest interface hang.

Cause

Authentication for the Data Aggregator (DA) REST interface was added in 21.2.1 and later.

The DA will reach back to the Netops Portal (CAPC) using the SSO scheme/port set under Remote Value set in the Single Sign-On section of SsoConfig  to the address in the Remote Value Setting for Web Site Host set in the SsoConfig under the  Performance Center section.

If it cannot do so due to port being blocked, address resolution, etc then the REST request cannot authenticate to SSO on the Netops Portal

Resolution

Resolve any communication issues as noted in the cause section.
