Issue/Introduction

When trying to manually install the Sym Agent on an Azure machine, the Sym Agent installer extracted the files then prepared to do the install and it quickly failed with the message:

Install failed.  Error message: Failed to run action: CopyAgentFilesTree

Confirmed that nothing was logged in Event Viewer (System or Applications) logs and this failure occurred too early in the install process so was unable to log anything - the ...\Altiris\Altiris Agent folders were even created.

Resolution

Currently unknown.  The customer that reported this is working with his infrastructure team (and Azure specialists) to see if they can trace what is interfering with the Sym Agent installer.
