Are workflows exported from Workpoint, BPM/BPMN 2.0 Compatible?

Issue/Introduction

This was a question that came up during a security audit.  BPM/BPMN - Business Process Model (and Notation).  

Resolution

Workpoint confirms that their workflows are not BPM/BPMN 2.0 compatible:

Workpoint’s internal representation of all objects is defined in XPDL version 1. The Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is a standardized graphical notation for drawing business processes in a workflow. Workpoint does not conform to the BPMN standard, we provide an ease of use business view of the process allowing our customers to customize the view to match their application design as opposed to a technical standard display of BPMN.
