Issue/Introduction

Does upgrading or downgrading probes remove or change the applied thresholds and settings?

Release : 20.3

Component : UNIFIED INFRASTRUCTURE MGMT

Resolution

No - upgrading/downgrading probes does not change existing probe settings.  It is always considered safe to upgrade or downgrade an existing probe.

 

Additional Information

It is still considered a best practice to regularly back up probe configurations.
