IBM MFA And Top Secret: 'You have no access' On STC And Factor Admin Panel

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install IBM's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), on the IBM Z Multi-Factor Authentication V2R1 panel titled "Started Task and Factor Administration", the following message is received when selecting any of the options:

Resolution

The acid accessing the panel needs ALL access to IBMFAC(IRR.RFACTOR.MFADEF.menuitem):

TSS PERMIT(acid) IBMFAC(IRR.RFACTOR.MFADEF.menuitem) ACCESS(ALL)
TSS REFRESH(acid) JOBNAME(*)

where 'menuitem' is the configure factor option on the menu to be selected. For example, 'AZFSTC' (item #1 in the illustration above).
