Issue/Introduction

PIM was installed on the Windows 2019 server in the AWS environment.

The installation fails to complete with the error "Verify that the file exists and that you can access it"

Release : 12.8 SP1 .xx

Component : CA ControlMinder - NT

Cause

The reason for this failure is that the PIM endpoint application is not certified for installation in any cloud environment such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and any other cloud platforms.

Resolution

The PAMSC endpoints would be certified for installation in the cloud platforms. Currently, there is not specific timelines to share regarding the certification completion.
