Issue/Introduction

Compliance Event Manager's (CEM) CEMWDCLD Warehouse DB (3575) load job abends with: 

DB02405I - PXX START CEMWDCLD 53569 72(001) OPEN -3575-D12 D-1 DBUTLTY LOAD

DB02406I - PXX END - DATA AREA IS FOR WRONG BASE OR AREA

DB00501E - OPEN ERROR - RETURN CODE 72 (001) CXX=CEMEMUF  (WSA03575)

DB10045E - ABNORMAL TERMINATION DUE TO ERROR(S)

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : COMPLIANCE EVENT MANAGER

Cause

The WSA03575 file's primary and secondary allocations were modified via ISPF 3.2 instead of the necessary CEM jobs.

Resolution

The following course of action taken by the customer proved successful:

1) Shutdown the CEMEWHSE STC task

2) Run CUSTOM.JOBLIB(CEMWDCBP) job to BACKUP DB 3575 (CEMEMUF must be active)     

3) Run CUSTOM.JOBLIB(CEMWDCSZ) job to DELETE existing WAREHOUSE datasets and REALLOCATE the new datasets

4) Run CUSTOM.JOBLIB(CEMWDCIN) job to REFORMAT the reallocated datasets to DATACOM format

5) Run CUSTOM.JOBLIB(CEMWDCLD) job to LOAD the backup into the DB 3575.  (CEMEMUF must be active)

6) Start the CEMEWHSE STC task
