Issue/Introduction

Why do some CA RS Service Packs have two PTFs with the same description?

For example:

CA RS 2201 Service List
LU03871 PTF TRACKING ELEMENT LEVEL SET
LU03872 PTF TRACKING ELEMENT LEVEL SET

CA RS 2008 Service List
SO12810 UCFCICS TERMINAL MODEL SELECTION CONCERN
SO12811 UCFCICS TERMINAL MODEL SELECTION CONCERN

CA RS 2006 Service List
SO12009 CICSOPT/IDMSINTL PARAMETER TO ENABLE UOWID SUPPORT
SO12693 CICSOPT/IDMSINTL PARAMETER TO ENABLE UOWID SUPPORT

Why do different PTFs have the same description?

This is very confusing

 Are they duplicates?

Environment

The PTFs apply to different FMIDs, one PTF is for the base FMID CAGJJ00 and the other PTF is for the CICS FMID CAGJJ01.
A PTF can only apply to one FMID so if the same solution is needed for multiple FMIDs then multiple PTFs are needed.
