Disable Automatic License Download for Content Analysis

Resolution

To Disable licensing auto-update, and allow only manual file download/installation, a below command can be used on Content Analysis:

CAS# Conf t

CAS(Config)# Licensing

CAS(Config-licensing)Auto-update false

Additional Information

Though It is possible to execute the same commands on a virtual appliance, we do not recommend executing these commands due to the requirement for communication to licensing services.

After disabling auto-update, the system will no longer update licensing when license information is changed (This includes license renewals). In order to update it will need to be performed manually.
