Plex migrating from JRE 8 to OpenJDK

Issue/Introduction

We are actually using Plex 7.2.1 with Java JRE version 8.

Can we upgrade to OpenJDK and if yes what version of OpenJDK?

Environment

Release : 7.21

Component : CA-Plex

Resolution

As of 2/4/2022, Plex does not support OpenJDK. A development back log has been logged for certified Plex 7.21 for OpenJDK 17(tentative plan) and expected to be delivered in second Q of 2022
