Optimizer/II r 8.5 JCL members OX85STAT and CAVHPROT missing from the HLQ.CARXJCL Library.

Issue/Introduction

After doing a new install JCL MEMBERS referenced in the CA OPTIMIZER/II  r 8.5 installation guide second edition, pages 76 - 78,  can not be located in HLQ.CARXJCL library. Those members are OX85STAT and CAVHPROT.

Cause

The client installed the Optimizer/II release 8.5 RUNTIME only license from the PAX file below.  JCL members are OX85STAT and CAVHPROT are not included with the RUNTIME only license.

Resolution

Optimizer/II r 8.5 has two types of license agreements, the FULL product license and the RUNTIME Only license.

The FULL product license allows you to compile-Optimize the program source and execute the optimized program. 
With the RUNTIME only license you can only execute the optimizer program. You CANNOT compile the program source.

Since the client installed the RUNTIME only product from the PAX file 851004ARX00.pax.Z, JCL members OX85STAT and CAVHPROT are not included with the base product installation. The JCL members are not used with the RUNTIME only license. 

If the client installed the FULL product license from PAX file 851004AOX00.pax.Z, then JCL members OX85STAT and CAVHPROT would be included with the base product installation.
