CEMWDCBP Backup Job fails: DB13001E - UNEXPECTED RETURN CODE 44 (1)

Issue/Introduction

Running CEM's CEMWDCBP job to backup the 3575 DB fails with the error:

DB13001E - UNEXPECTED RETURN CODE 44 (1) EXTERNAL SECURITY ENVIRONMENT ERROR, SIGNON

DB10045E - ABNORMAL TERMINATION DUE TO ERROR(S)

Cause

RETURN CODE 44 (1) means that the Multi-User Facility could not sign on a user for external security.  

The following Top Secret error was found in the CEMEMUF STC job output: TSS7160E Facility <UNICNTR> Not Authorized for Your Use

Resolution

The Customer's TSO ID needs to be added to the UNICNTR Facility.

Example:  TSS ADD (user's tsoID) FACILITY(UNICNTR,BATCH)
