Issue/Introduction

After upgrading Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) to 14.3 RU4 Application and Device control shows "Not Reporting Status" on the Client View tab.

Cause

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) clients 14.3 RU3 and earlier do not send this operational state data to the SEPM.

Resolution

Upgrade SEP clients to 14.3 RU4 for the Application and Device Control status to display correctly.
