Issue/Introduction

Changing the way EEM is pointing to LDAP configuration from Basic Ldap over to Microsoft Active Directory Forest. After changing to Microsoft Active Directory Forest, the principal name is showing domain name\username as the principal name. When trying to log into WCC with just the username, not able to have access to things that were previously accessible when using basic Ldap in EEM. When logging into WCC with domain name\username everything runs as designed in WCC. Is it a requirement to domain name\username if using Microsoft Active Directory?

Environment

Release : 12.6.0.5

Component : EEM

Resolution

Yes, need to use domain name\username when logging into WCC when Microsoft Active Directory Forest is used. The reason is multiple domains can be added and available when using Microsoft Active Directory Forest in EEM.
