ITCM to ITAM Integration not passing Linux OS content correctly during reconciliation

Issue/Introduction

ITAM 17.3 RU3 and ITCM integration results in Linux OS versions coming back as just Linux and not the full version such as Red Hat Linux 7.0 ES during reconciliation.

For Windows this is functioning properly but for Linux it is being reported to ITAM as just Linux.

Resolution

we have determined that the current functionality of the ITAM/ITCM integration with regards to how Linux OS materials are being transferred is currently working as designed.  At the present time, the integration does not specify which flavour of Linux is being transferred across in the integration.  An enhancement and feature has been opened to explore an update to the functionality in a future build of the ITAM/ITCM integration.
