Issue/Introduction

Information Centric Analytics' (ICA) RiskFabric Processing job step Process Risk Models fails and returns the following error:

Error Msg: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_LDW_RiskModelStageInstances_RiskModelInstanceID". The conflict occurred in database "RiskFabric", table "dbo.LDW_RiskModelStageInstances", column 'RiskModelInstanceID'.

Cause

The merge of risk model instances from staging into the core table has logic to flag existing data as deleted. When these steps aren't in sync and the procedure attempts to delete Risk Model instances that have mapped stages which were not deleted, the foreign key constraint error is thrown.

Resolution

This behavior will be addressed in the next release of ICA. Please contact Broadcom support for assistance.
