CA Workload Automation AE - System Agent (AutoSys)

Issue/Introduction

I recently changed my Configuration in Autosys to 12.0.01 and the Enterprise Command Line stopped working. I discovered that I needed to edit the Configuration to now have a Web Services URL. Previously one wasn't required?

I added a Web Services URL, but I keep getting the following error message:

Authorization problem connecting to Server
StatusCode: 401, Using user: svcautosys_dev@us: https://servername.domain.company.com:9443/AEWS/command
, URL: https:///servername.domain.company.com:9443/AEWS

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : CA Workload Automation AE (AutoSys)

Resolution

As of AutoSys 12.x the WCC ECLI functions do require the AutoSys WebService.  It needs to be defined in WCC's AutoSys server definition.  And the hostname used must be one that is consitent within the the AutoSys configuration.  The Application server host name, the web service urls and a defined host in autosys (autorep -M <> -q). Be consistent regarding using the short name vs fully qualified.
