Resolution

For larger PTFs such as LU04005, it may be necessary to either perform maintenance in smaller batches or increase the allocation size of SYSUT1.

For more average sized PTFs, the SMP/E errors GIM69010E, GIM69011I and GIM30217I can be caused by an incomplete APAR/PTF most likely caused by truncation during the upload/download process.

Check the FTP upload and download jobs for any errors related to not enough space such as a D37 or B37 abend. Correct any errors related to the upload/download of the APAR/PTF, RESTORE the APAR/PTF, re-RECEIVE and re-APPLY the APAR/PTF.
