Where are the IDM Log files on Weblogic

Issue/Introduction

CA Identity Manager (Symantec IGA) has been deployed with Weblogic as the Application Server. 

Where are the IDM application logs stored in this type of deployment?

Environment

Release : 14.x on Weblogic

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Resolution

The Weblogic application server instance maintains a server log - SERVER_NAME. log file in the DOMAIN_ NAME\servers\SERVER_NAME\logs directory.

Windows Example:

C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\base_domain\servers\AdminServer\logs

However, the logging location is customizable.  To confirm the exact path

Navigate to Environment -> Servers
Select the server instance hosting IDM
Click on the Logging tab
See the "Log file name:" entry.

Linux Example:

/var/log/managedservers/idm01/server.log
