Issue/Introduction

The Blue Coat categorization provider returns unlicensed; unavailable 

 

This is seen;

• when testing a URL category (Configuration > Content Filtering > General > Diagnostics)
• reviewing the categories in access log entries

 

The administrator has confirmed the following;

• the categorization database is updated and the status is Ready (https://proxysg:8082/ContentFilter/Status)
• other database type results return successfully, such as the local database categorization
• Blue Coat categories show in the Visual Policy Manager and under https://proxysg:8082/ContentFilter/Categorization
• the appliance base license is valid

Resolution

Push policy to the device from the Visual Policy Manager or Management Center.
