Resolution

The GSO OPTS MODE setting relates to data set access.
MODE determines what actions the product takes when a request to access a data set is considered a violation.
MODE does not affect resource rules; these rules are always in ABORT mode.
The ADR707E violations are resource MANAGEMENT(MGMTCLAS) class validation to check the authority to perform DFSMSdss functions,
so the GSO OPTS MODE(WARN) does not bypass this security resource validation.

There is no need to re-IPL after a GSO OPTS MODE(ABORT|WARN|LOG|QUIET|RULE,norule,no$mode) change,
F ACF2,REFRESH(OPTS) can be issued to make the change effective.
