After expiration of a legacy RAI keys do the products cease to function?

What happens when legacy RAI keys (non-LMP keys) have expired?
Do the products such as Smart/RRSAF and Smart/RESTART cease to function?

Sample RAI warning messages:
RAI221W - Smart/RRSAF Version x10 usage has 10 days remaining    
RAI221W - Smart/RESTART Version x10 usage has 10 days remaining

Resolution

Once legacy RAI keys expire the products will cease to function.  New legacy RAI keys should
be requested from the Global Customer Assistance team.
