How do I connect a new instance of AAI to an existing database?

Environment

Release : 6.4.1

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE ENGINE

Resolution

After installing the new AAI server, you will need to get a copy of the ./jawskey file from the existing AAI server from the /<Install Dir>/jboss/standalone/configuration/ directory to the same directory.

 

Then launch the AAI configuration tool by running /<Install Dir>/config/run.sh and go to the database tab and verify that a “Test Connection” works, if not check the /<Install Dir>/config/log/confittool.log file for any errors.
