Broadcom's 'SMPE RECEIVE ORDER STATIC IP CHANGE' Notice Question

Issue/Introduction

Per the Broadcom notice that IP's are changing for "SMPE receive orders" after March 11th, is this pertinent for FTPS or HTTPS connections?

Resolution

The update is to the static IP address for the eapi.broadcom.com server that communicates via https only.  The recommendation is to use the hostname (eapi.broadcom.com), but if the static IP 192.19.232.182 address is being used then it will need to be changed to 141.202.0.16.  

It is the download server (rdownloads.broadcom.com) that can communicate via sftp or ftps; with no change to its IP address: 141.202.253.110.
