Issue/Introduction

Web Viewer displays a TCPIP CODE=0C4  REASON CODE=00000011 attempting to access the Viewer through a 'secure' AT-TLS port connection while using embedded Tomcat.

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• Apache Tomcat®
• IBM AT-TLS
• Common Components and Services for z/OS 15.0  (CCS Tomcat)

Cause

Web Viewer 12.1 with embedded Tomcat does not support AT-TLS

Resolution

Web Viewer 12.1 with embedded Tomcat does not support AT-TLS.

If you would like to use the Common Services Tomcat instead of the embedded Tomcat, it can be configured to use AT-TLS:
