Are CA Service Management Roll Up Patches Cumulative?

Issue/Introduction

When installing CA Service Management Roll Up patches, do I need to install each Roll Up patch (RU) separately or can I just install the latest one?

CA Service Management - all versions

Resolution

CA Service Management Rollup Patches are cumulative and include fixes from previous Rollup Patches.

You only need to install the latest Roll Up Patch to get the latest fixes and features.

Example:

If your environment is running 17.4 RU1 and you wish to upgrade to 17.4 RU4, you just need to install RU4.

As always, we recommend testing all RU patch installs in a non-PROD environment first.
