Issue/Introduction

DCS UMC fails to load due to corrupted .war files. Follow this article to redeploy the .war files.

Environment

Data Center Security Sever (DCS) 6.8 MP2 +

Resolution

How to recreate the UMC war files

 1. Stop the DCS Manager services

 2. Move the folders 'umcservices' and 'webportal' out from the following path:
 <MGMT install dir>\server\tomcat\symapps\umc\

 3. Start the DCS Manager services
 (those directories with be recreated in 5 to 10 minutes)

 4. After the folders are recreated, stop the DCS manager services again.

 5. Check if folder "<server install dir>\tomcat\symapps\umc\webportal\client\src\app\dcss" exists

 6. If not, browse to \server\tomcat\symapps\console\sis-ui\download

 7. Copy dcss.zip from that directory to \server\tomcat\symapps\umc\webportal\client\src\app directory and extract content of this zip in a folder called "dcss" under  "<server install dir>\tomcat\symapps\umc\webportal\client\src\app"

 8. Remove the .zip from that directory

 9. Start the manager services and log into the UMC
