Seeing repeated messages "VKG0001I I/O to Vol=xxxxxx has not responded for 60.00 seconds" in the Vantage STC

Issue/Introduction

Seeing these messages continually appear, repeated every 15 minutes, in the Vantage STC output:

GENVVDS2 VKG0001I I/O to Vol=xxxxxx has not responded for 60.00 seconds.                                                                                                                                                    

 GENVVDS2 VKG0001I I/O to Vol=yyyyyy has not responded for 60.00 seconds.

Cause

The volumes listed in the VKG0001I messages are VM volumes, not MVS volumes.  

Resolution

The resolution to this problem is to not allow Vantage to process these volumes.  This can be accomplished by excluding these volumes in the INCLEXCL Vantage parmlib member.
