Trying to enter LAP command via RESTapi and getting RC500 - Internal Server Error

Issue/Introduction

One of our development teams is trying to port some previously developed code (ESP REST 11.4 - pre TLS) into the new RESTapi with TLS.  They are entering a LAP command and getting the RC500 - Internal server Error.

 

Environment

Release : 12.0

Component : ESP WORKLOAD AUTOMATION

Cause

Customer using the old WEBPORT RESTful Service through WSS. And this is not supported in the new 12.0 ESP REST API.

 

 

Resolution

Can still use WSS's WEBPORT in 12.0 if needed.
