Cause

The system is crashing because of an invalid hash table entry. The entry in question is found, but because the OD is not in memory the block will need to be read from disk. Yet because there is no block-address stored in the hash table entry CE asserts with 0x40018 (CEA_INVALID_BLOCK_CREATION).

Resolution

It's been confirmed that the crash is also linked with bug #SG-22439 and had been fixed in the SGOS 7.2.3.x branch. 

 

Resolution: Upgrade to SGOS  SGOS 7.2.8.1, the latest of the 7.2.x.x branch. The other option is to upgrade to SGOS 7.3.5.2.
