Unable to add Insight report and New Ad Hoc Report

Issue/Introduction

After having successfully configured the Reporting Server/database, when trying to add Insight report, we get following

 

 

Environment

Release : 6.4.0

Component : AUTOMIC AUTOMATION INTELLIGENCE INSIGHT

Resolution

Open the browsers console and check if you see following error message:

SEVERE [AbstractJerseyService] caught unexpected error parsing JSON response from server: com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (SyntaxError) : Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0”

Check whether the system clocks on the two servers are in sync.
If they are out of sync, update the clocks.
