Incorrect Manual Transaction Entry Cost

Issue/Introduction

The manual transaction cost = 457.03
The financial plan cost = 309.96 JPY

Why is there a discrepancy?

 

Cause

In an example use case,

A transaction is in example currency USD,
however the project currency is a different currency, e.g. JPY.

the transaction was performed in currency = AUD and was converted on the investment currency view.

Resolution

If the manual transaction is incorrect, perform a WIP Adjustment on the transaction by just changing the currency.
