Issue/Introduction

Steps to recycle Controller Unit (CU) instance in AWS for Cloud Workload Protection (CWP)

Resolution

Steps to recycle CU instance in AWS:

1. Log on to the AWS Management console.
2. Select the region where the CWP for Storage Cloud Formation is deployed.
3. Go to Services > Compute > EC2.
4. Select the Controller instance with name having the Stack name as prefix and click Terminate instance from the Instance state dropdown.

Note: Existing Controller and Protection Unit instances will be terminated and new Controller and Protection Unit instances will be up and running.
